Testimonial

The Johanniter Hilfsgemeinschaft (JHG) Hamburg assumes responsibility for the poor, sick, old, young and disabled - regardless of gender, denomination or origin - through personal commitment and personal attention. In this context, the Johanniter Hilfsgemeinschaft Hamburg children's camp took place at Haus Hannah in Buchen in the Duchy of Lauenburg from July 22 to 30, 2023.

This is a JHG project that is characterized by service to those in need, work in a Christian community and voluntary commitment. It is held regularly for children from socially disadvantaged families. The contact established is maintained by the supervisors as far as possible throughout the year.

As a supervisor, Mr. Maximilian Dietel was significantly involved in the implementation of this leisure time; we were able to get to know him in detail.

His tasks included in particular

Mr. Dietel and the employees formed a harmonious team for all of this very complex work. In addition to his human experience and enthusiasm, Mr. Dietel has the qualities that are necessary for a successful cooperation with and for people in need. Mr. Dietel always worked conscientiously and reliably, and at the same time we noticed that he was prudent, helpful and hard-working. He quickly gained the trust of the children. Even under high pressure and in stressful situations, Mr. Dietel always acted calmly and correctly. Mr. Dietel always had an open ear for the concerns and needs of the participating children and their families.

Mr. Dietel also possesses the degree of empathy that is particularly required for such projects, and in view of all his qualities, a very high degree of social competence is attested here.

The Johanniter Hilfsgemeinschaft is very grateful to Mr. Dietel for his exceptionally good work. We wish him all the best for the rest of his life!
