Mr. Maximilian Dietel, born on July 2, 2003, completed an internship at SAP SE - Department lntegrated Data & Analytics - for the purpose of career exploration from June 3-7, 2019.
SAP SE is one of the world's leading providers of enterprise software solutions that organize the various processes within companies and across company boundaries. The portfolio includes business applications for large and medium-sized companies as well as standard solutions for small and medium-sized companies.
During his internship, Mr. Dietel gained an insight into the following areas:
Helping to prepare and run Analytics Day - an event for SAP-internal demonstration of scenarios for using, handling and evaluating large amounts of data. / Assistance with the set-up, stand service at the reception
Showroom for customer demonstrations (SAP City): Insight into scenarios of networked energy management in a virtual city to demonstrate the possible uses of SAP software.
Weekly routine of a manager: weekly schedule meeting between manager and assistant, planning of customer appointments, activities in preparation for management and team meetings
Software development (software engineering): Insight into the activities of a software developer / overview of how software programming methodology has changed over the years
Software Sales (Sales): Insight into the activities of a manager in sales - analyzing customer requirements, preparing quotations, pricing
Basics of project management: insight into the activities of a project manager at SAP / insight into the planning and implementation of projects for the use of SAP software at SAP internally
Mr. Dietel showed great interest and enthusiasm for the topics and tasks that he was able to learn about during the week. His interested demeanor made it a pleasure for our employees to work with him.
